By 5:30, the space was so pretty and welcoming and tantalizing food odors were wafting out of the kitchen.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We couldn\u2019t put on an event like this without all the volunteers that come help us. Our thanks go out to you.<\/p>\n<p>Board members Molly Rivard and Steve Gilchrist took charge of the kitchen with their hard-working helpers, and the result was a delicious meal. Board members Cathy Van Ruhan, Martha Rudersdorf, Linda Finch and Judith Pasco arranged the auction and sales tables and set and decorated the tables.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-654 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mujeresdemaizof.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Dio-de-Muertos-Dinner-2017-2-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mujeresdemaizof.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Dio-de-Muertos-Dinner-2017-2-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mujeresdemaizof.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Dio-de-Muertos-Dinner-2017-2.jpg 303w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Our silent auction had over 90 items and 5 tables specialized in handicrafts, clothing and ceramics from Chiapas.<\/p>\n<p>We are so appreciative of all those who attended.
